Dave Allen is the founder of Allen Analytics, a consulting firm specializing employee survey research and consulting. Over the last 20 years, Dave has conducted hundreds of employee survey research projects with organizations in all industry sectors, including employee engagement surveys, culture surveys, multi-rater surveys and customer satisfaction surveys. He also specializes in research that links employee metrics with customer and financial metrics to help organizations identify the key employee behaviors that drive business results.
Prior to founding Allen Analytics, Dave was the Pacific Region Practice Leader for Right Management. In this role he managed and oversaw all assessments projects in the Pacific Region, both organization assessments (e.g., engagement surveys, culture surveys, focus groups, etc.) and individual assessments (e.g., 360-feeback/multi-rater surveys, candidate selection and succession planning, etc.). Dave also spent eight years conducting employee research with TRI-AD, a boutique consulting firm in San Diego, and prior to that eight years with Watson Wyatt in the organization research practice.
Dave holds a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Kansas State University. He is a member of the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a member and past president of the Organization Development Network of San Diego. Dave is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of the Rockies, where he teaches graduate courses in organization development.
